PartnerSource Names Paige Watts Winner of 2022 Compassionate Service Award

PartnerSource, the leading source for responsible alternatives to traditional workers’ compensation in Texas, recently honored Paige Watts, RN, BSN, RNC-NIC, CLC, occupational nurse case specialist with Baylor Scott & White Health, for her compassionate commitment to injured workers with a 2022 Compassionate Service Award.

Paige Watts is an excellent example of an advocate with a servant’s heart,” said Nan Dillon, vice president of PartnerShip Services for PartnerSource. “She makes a difference each day by showing compassion to her employer’s greatest asset -- its employees.”

A resident of Bedford, Watts supports Baylor Scott & White employees throughout Texas as an occupational nurse case specialist. Before joining Baylor Scott & White Health, Watts spent summers volunteering in the system’s risk management department. She joined Baylor Scott & White Health in 2008 after earning her nursing degree.

“Paige will tell you being an occupational nurse case specialist is her dream job, and she does it exceptionally well,” Dillon said of Watts, who is often one of the first people a worker speaks with after reporting a work-related injury. “Her actions truly reflect a love of her job and caring for others. She proactively anticipates questions and identifies solutions while assisting the adjuster, coordinating medical treatment and working with the medical providers. Her focus is to make sure that Baylor Scott & White employees feel seen and heard.”

The award was announced at OneSource, PartnerSource’s signature industry education series held on October 6 and attended by professionals from sectors including retail, hospitality, food service, transportation and logistics, healthcare and more. Compassionate Service Award winners are chosen based on nominations from PartnerSource employees and industry thought leaders. Debbie Garcia with Providence also was honored with a 2022 Compassionate Service Award.

Both of these winners are professionals who represent kindness, compassion and empathy in the care of injured workers,” Jennifer Hurless, president of PartnerSource, noted. “It’s an honor to recognize them for their work, which exemplifies the way that PartnerSource and our clients believe injured workers should be treated.”
